Dairy Farm Helper

**Dairy Farm in - Alberta - CANADA**

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Handle, feed and care for cattle.
- Ensure water is available and cattle are fed the correct amount and type of feed.
- Reproduction - heat detection, donor preparation, recipient preparation, related record keeping.
- Monitor health and welfare of livestock; Recognize and treat health problems; Give antibiotics and vaccinations.
- Perform record keeping procedure manually and use computers.
- Perform other related duties as needed

**Salary**: $16.00 CAD - $19.00 CAD per hour - Depends on experience.

**Hours of work **= 50+ hours per week

**Education**:Training/ Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in one of these professions is required:
Bachelor's degree or B.Sc. in Veterinary Technician.

B.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Agricultural Engineering

B.Sc. or B.Sc. in Animal Husbandry or Forestry Technician

B.Sc. or B.Sc. in Agricultural Technology

Engine Maintenance Technician

Technologist in Agrobiotechnology

Food Agroindustry Technician

Agricultural Crops Technician

Agricultural Machinery Engine Maintenance Technician
