Sanhua Mexico Investment is a platform company and provides all services to other manufacturing BUs in Mexico, including but not limited to warehouse and logistics, accounting and finance, treasury, taxes, FX management and property management.
**DESCRIPTION**
We are actively looking for a **Logistics Manager** to be in charge of monitoring the planning of the supply, storage and distribution of materials, components and products; as well as compliance with legal issues, certifications and programs granted by the government.
Guarantee robust production processes in the logistics center, which allow the shipment of finished product to the final consumer with the required quality and with the greatest economic benefit, through the developmentof improvement strategies and decision making by having reliable and timely information.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's Degree of Industrial Engineering/ Business Administration/ Related
- Fluent in English (speaking, writing, listening).
- 8 years of experience in similiar positions (in charge of personnel management, inventory control, warehouse operation, costumer service, operation process, KPIs management).
- Advanced knowledge in Excel.
- Intermediate knowledge in SAP, Office, WMS.
- Intermediate knowledge of foreign trade, budget management, quality systems.
**ACTIVITIES**
- Warehouse operation: Oversee warehouse operations, including layout planning, storage, and inventory organization. Implement best practices for picking, packing, and shipping to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
- Transportation Management: Arrange transportation for goods, negotiate with carriers, and choose the most cost-effective and efficient transportation modes. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers or distribution centers.
- Distribution Strategy : Develop and execute distribution strategies to ensure products are delivered to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. Optimize distribution networks to minimize transportation costs and delivery times.
- Inventory control:
- Inventory Accuracy Assurance: Establish robust procedures for maintaining accurate inventory records and quantities. Regularly review and reconcile recorded inventory levels with physical counts.
- FIFO Implementation: Lead the implementation of strict FIFO principles across all inventory management activities. Develop and oversee processes to ensure that products are issued and shipped based on the oldest stock available.
- Performance measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the performance of the logistics operations. Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
- Cost Management: Manage logistics budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Implement strategies to reduce transportation costs, optimize routes, and minimize waste.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions. Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in transportation and warehousing.
- Team management: Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and enhance logistics processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Implement new technologies and automation to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and procurement, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
