**What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?**

The VIE Program of Forvia is an
**international young graduate program,** which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between
**18 and 28** to work for one of our subsidiary
**around the world**

PLEASE NOTE: as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the
**country of your citizenship.**

**What is your role and surroundings?**

Our
**Faurecia FCM** is looking for you as a Program Purchasing Leader you will work closely with program core team, commodity buyers, costing team and suppliers in Mexico, Queretaro.

**What will be your main missions?**
- **Aqcuisition Rôle**
- Contribute to the conception of the client offer: participate in the acquisition team from the offer conception phase, and involve expert suppliers in this business acquisition phase
- Provide cost feedback to the Acquisition team on various concepts intended to enhance competitivenes
- Provide support in make or buy decision by giving external price comparison and analyzing impact of decision on supplier base
- Ensure expert supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel as needed
- Negotiate and establish the appropriate cost structure to support the program objectives
- Manage specific mandated suppliers
- Participate in Global Acquisitions supporting the team with regional supplier information and costs and cooperating in deciding on a local vs. global sourcing strategy
- **Program Purchasing Role**
- Ensure supplier piece price and tooling are in line with the program IBP and support OI for the
- division.
- Participate as a core member of the program team by being responsible for all purchasing
- deliverables.
- Approve supplier selection with the commodity buyer to ensure alignment with Program OI.
- Ensure sourcing committee presentation is complete and accurate at time of sourcing with all impacted commodity and purchasing costing team members.
- Nominate suppliers to sourcing committee per launch timeline.
- Responsible for kicking off supplier tooling per program timeline, utilizing SAP system.
- Support Supplier Quality in ensuring supplier PPAP timing meets program and launch readiness timing.
- Issue purchase orders for early build parts.
- Track BOM cost impact from business award through end of life.
- Understand design changes through ECR/ECO process with strong communication to commodity and costing group to measure cost impact.
- Ensure supplier tool payment complete for BOP.
- Attend program core team meetings.
- Ensure all Helios work package deliverables are met per the agreed upon program timing

The mission will last
**12 months**.

**What you need to join us?**
- **Master’s degree** /Engineering diploma in **purchasing**:

- Previous purchasing experience is advantageous.
- **English language is mandatory** as you will be speaking with people from all over the world.
