The mission of the role is to lead our company’s transformation into automated information systems. The CTO will play a key role in the strategic vision of the company’s future and will have a lasting impact on the success of the company. Your work will directly impact hundreds of manufacturers and thousands of people every day. If you are excited about transforming an industry through technology, have experience leading change management initiatives at scale, and are passionate about the border and international trade. We are looking for a creative and driven technologist who has experience scaling technology systems cross-departmentally to increase efficiency across employees and infrastructure, decrease our risk of cybersecurity attacks, and most importantly drive our strategy into the next stage of growth.

You might be an excellent fit for this role if you have been in a similar position in a manufacturing or Maquila related industry and are excited to be at the forefront of one of the fastest growing sectors in our world.

**Responsibilities**
- Help departments use technology to reduce workload.
- Review all aspects of Cyber Security.
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
- Clearly communicate technology strategy and go forward plans.
- Discover and implement innovative technologies improving efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in similar leadership roles.
- Knowledge of technological trends.
- Budget planning and tracking against job progress.
- Excellent Communication Skills (**Bilingual: English & Spanish is a plus**)
- Leadership and organizational abilities.
- Strategic thinking.
- Problem solving aptitude.
- Experience and success in similar positions.
- An innovative mindset to make beneficial changes to current technology usage among company departments.
- Experience and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning and Supply Chain Management Systems.
