We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary: PayPal Consumer Onboarding Engineering team is looking for a strong backend software engineer to work on a unique opportunity within PayPal. As a member of the Consumer Onboarding Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services that powers the consumer onboarding user experiences on mobile platforms and working closely with other cross-functional & vertical teams. If you are passionate about continually improving the quality of every aspect of your daily routine - be it code, delivery process, communication or visibility, if you like to challenge the status quo and look for a friendly but challenging place to build up your skills - we believe you can be a great addition to our team

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with design & product to craft great product experiences
- Collaborate with peers and seniors within and across the teams
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- Identify and document best practices

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in client & server-side JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Redux and webpack
- Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform and design constraints on the web
- Experience in developing automated unit and functional tests
- Experience in agile development process
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns
- Have a passion for quality and writing clean, readable code that scales and performs well
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science
