**Description**

**Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain our cloud-based Platform solutions.
- Work with other engineers to develop and deploy new features and find improvement areas of quality, performance, and reliability.
- Work with Product Managers to understand and implement their requirements
- Work with other engineers on the Platform Team to build, improve and maintain our Platform
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends
- Contribute to technical and non-technical documentation for the rest of the organization.

**What are we looking for**
- 2-3 years of experience in designing and building efficient and reliable systems in a Cloud environment
- 1+ years experience architecting and provisioning Cloud resources.
- General understanding of managing AWS Infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
- Using containerization and building systems
- Proven experience in building well-designed RESTful APIs.
- Experience in event-bus systems like SNS, EventBridge, and Apache Kafka.
- Proven experience programming (scripting) using one or more high-level languages, such as Python and JavaScript (with Node.js/Typescript).
- Experience with implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and UNIX systems
- General understanding of source control methodologies, GitFlow styles and branching model
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working under Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
