**Job Description**:
The Literary Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and providing a summary of productions that primarily target US Hispanic viewers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reads, researches and analyzes each story to understand if the projects target US Hispanic viewers
- Provides a comparison with current existent programming to ease the analysis
- Provides feedback on the what the look and feel of the production project would be
- Prepares an analysis in writing of the proposed new projects with an overall recommendation for the project
- Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of Telemundo Studios’ infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures
- Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment
- Presents ideas that support EHS goals and policies to your business or EHS leader
- Raises concerns about possible violations of EHS policies to your manager, business and EHS Leader
- Works under the direct supervision of the Vice President of scripted Development and/or Sr. Director scripted Development and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Responsible for creating the synopsis for each episode
- Ensures all dramatic themes and actions are developed in the story and are not left behind and detects inconsistencies and informs the Literary Advisor of such
- Edits all grammar and neutralizes the dialogue and language if needed
- Keeps control on the amount of days with dramatic themes in the scripts
- Supports the head writer and literary advisor with any aspects related to the script’s formats
- Keeps direct contact with the production and flags the head writer of anything that may affect the production
- Serves as a liaison between the production and the head writer
- Edits the scripts, synopsis and character profiles once the project is finished
- Breaks down the script in Accion

**Qualifications**:
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Writer focusing on Spanish language entertainment content
- Exhibits thorough understanding of Hispanic-Spanish language content/programming
- Proven experience in the development of successful Spanish language content
- Must be fully fluent in Spanish and English
- Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions
