Metrology Supervisor

Responsible for the development and execution of procedures, measurement and calibration programs of the BorgWarner PDS Irapuato Plant.

Responsible for the execution of the annual calibration program for the plant's measurement equipment.

Develop, execute and disseminate monthly calibration program results.

Compile results and maintain accurate calibration and measurement records, including design, validation testing and repairs.

Responsible for training assigned operating personnel to operate measurement equipment.

Order and maintain a general parts inventory to maximize utilization of measurement and test equipment.

Responsible for programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Particle Analysis Microscopes, as well as providing preventive maintenance of the same.

Coordinate activities for GR&R studies on measuring devices in production lines and metrology laboratory.

Responsible for IATF 16949, ISO-14001 system monitoring within assigned tasks.

Conduct corrective actions to problems with measuring devices.

Implement cost reduction strategies for certification and equipment maintenance in order to reduce costs.

Responsible for ensuring chemical control compliance in the Metrology and Metallography Laboratory.
