Site Reliability Engineer

With a global reach spanning two dozen languages, we build Voice AI products with conversational intelligence for cars, restaurant ordering, and more, allowing our customers to extend their brand in new and meaningful ways.
We are looking for a site reliability engineer who can contribute to system architecture, production automation, software engineering, and systems and operations monitoring. You will join a Guadalajara-based team that works closely with SoundHound colleagues in the United States and Canada.
**In this role, you will**:
- Design and automate a framework for deployment, customization, upgrades, and monitoring through CI/CD tools (Ansible, Terraform, Consul, Vault, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Develop, maintain, and enforce SLI/SLO/SLA to ensure service and infrastructure availability
- Collaborate with engineering, quality engineering, and product management to architect and build systems/features that are highly available, reliable, and secure
**We would love to hear from you if**:
- You have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent
- You have two to five years of experience supporting public and private cloud services in a high-volume customer-facing environment
- You can participate in on-call rotation
- You have experience with deployments in cloud technologies
- You have experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sensu, Kafka, ELK stack, and PagerDuty
- You are well-versed in TCP/IP, Linux operating system internals, filesystems, disk/storage technologies
- You have network and security experience including L2/L3 protocols, firewalls, pen testing, network assessment, DHCP, DNS, IPV4 and IPV6, VPN, SSH protocols, SSL/TLS certificate management
- You are comfortable working with a wide range of relevant, server-side technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, Postgres, Mysql, Redis, ELK, Riak
- You are proficient in Terraform, Python, Go, or Bash; you are familiar with JVM
