What We’re Looking For

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Mexican team (Leon, Hermosillo site) to help streamline our on-going projects and after sales service of Mexican customers.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact to customers in Mexico on customer's site for the on-going projects commissioning and acceptance test run and after sales service jobs
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders in China (need to be able to work night hours occasionally, between 17:00-21:00 EST) and Mexican clients on project status; and assess current or future client needs and priorities.
- Preparation and maintenance of schedules and resource forecasting
- Co-ordinating, facilitating and driving project scoping, planning, execution, and close out.
- Co-ordinate the clarification of design and specification requirements and arrange for necessary changes.
- Be responsible for service sales opportunities and project task management, collecting quotation and project status updates, and tracking project milestones
- Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables and relay appropriate information to applicable leadership team members
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Compete other duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required
- Experience with industrial automation, including general knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English/Spanish and Chinese
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and night hours
- Ensure scheduled milestones are met
- Notify the appropriate departments if milestones are not met
- Self-starter, capable of taking initiative to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Preference will be given to those who possess an excellent manufacturing or process engineering background, a superior mechanical aptitude and proven trouble-shooting skills.
- An ability to work effectively with customers according to deadlines and under pressure-filled conditions is essential.
