Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

**Total Productive Maintenance Manager**

**Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or Technical degree, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics degree preferred
- Total Productive Maintenance Certification (Marshall Institute or equivalent)

**Experience Requirements**:

- 5 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 to 5 years of experience in TPM principles, methods, systems

**Required Skills and Knowledge**:

- Able to work across cultures and departments
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Able to exercise leadership without authority
- Lean training
- Technical English language skills (read, write, and speak)
- Strong understanding of TPM principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven experience in leading TPM or similar continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing
- Effective leadership and team-building skills with the ability to set a vision, mission, manage change, develop personnel, and strategically plan for continuous improvement
- Project management skills / training with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to drive data-driven decisions
- Ability to communicate effectively and to influence at all levels of the organization

**Travel**:

- 25% to 50% depending on office location; International travel is a must
