Manage and control the global direct material supply from outsource data base into the Teleflex Mexico regional sites. Work with the plant purchasing team to ensure supply continuity is in place to achieve production plan and demand fulfillment model. - Manage delivery and commercial relationship with regional supplier, including: electronic, plastic, packaging metal and non-metal commodity. - Negotiate with suppliers in financial or operational distress; manage force majeure, supplier bankruptcies, etc. - Resolve supply shortages as well as quickly read and correct operational deficiencies within supply base. - Coordinate Vendor initiated termination process and exit strategy for resourcing projects management, support and escalate SIC related. - Coordinate supplier tooling transfers. - Vertical integration support - Perform business reviews with supplier including score cards. Assessment of performance in terms of quality, on time deliveries, cost reduction projects and PPV analysis. -Manage cost containment project and cost improvement project for direct materials -Tactical support for Sourcing strategies alignment for regional and global commodities. -Support the R&D function on new product developments. -Lead the weekly/Monthly Supplier meetings with each of the key outsource supply partners -On-site support and travel as required regionally.

Experiência y requisitos
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or other relevant discipline. - Advanced Knowledge of injection molding, thermoforming and corrugated packaging processes. - 5+ years required as senior supply chain management experience or related fields. - Experience on Medical industries preferred
