- Responsible for Mexico’s Project Controlling and Cost Estimation.
- Adapt and implement specific guidelines and methods for cost estimation processes for the Country in coordination with Market Controlling and ensure its compliance in accordance with global standards.
- Design and implement methods for tracking project profitability across its entire life cycle.
- Conduct the cost estimations in Process "Acquire & Quote", "Develop & Launch" according to the principle of “expected reality”.
- Ensure smooth transfer of cost estimation to plant controlling before SOP.
- Conduct the cost analysis in process "Make & Deliver" to identify the deviation of actual to target and support the improvement measures.
- Ensure the team members to act as valued core team members in the project teams.
- Support the creation of eCar/RfA (process of approval for investment proposals); create assumption sheet and evaluate the risks and opportunities.
- Support sales for customer specific cost breakdowns and cost negotiations.
- Monitor and track project team costs, investment and tooling costs.
- Prepare and analyze cost benchmarks and target costings.
- Prepare and conduct audits with customers.
- Conduct business cases to evaluate the general investment.
