**Your Role and Responsibilities**
Work as a Test and Automation Engineer to ensure continuous delivery of the product to the stakeholders.
Responsible not only to maintaining but also to adequate and understand the new infrastructure needs (electrical, network, test platform, equipment, testers) for the test manufacturing and engineering process.
You'll also be responsible for New Product Introduction in Manufacturing Test and Early Manufacturing Involvement to meet new requirements (Debug, Defect Tracking and Mitigation with Development, FW Modeling, PTF Implementation, Test Case and Batch list Modification/Creation, Overall New Product Test Process Setup). Strong Focus on Innovation. Create a strong Collaboration with Development Teams, Supply Chain Engineering Teams and Manufacturing Test Analyzers to identify 1) improvement opportunities in the products or processes 2) Defects or quality risks and HW Test Failures (Debug). Have a strong communication with Operations management teams to understand their needs, the volumes we are facing every EOM EOQ and communicate to them effectively status on defects, prestops, order status, etc.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Knowledge on AIX and iSeries software
- Understanding of the software development life cycle for the product
- Expertise in automation language, tool, and scripts - Python, Java, Perl or Shell
- Experience in administration of Linux/UNIX based Operating System and developing solutions using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Sonar
- Analytical skills, decision-making ability
- Knowledge in Agile methodologies
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
- Ability to work in a team, under schedule pressure, and maintain deadlines
- Experience in Test Plan creation and development test cases from the requirements & Design Documents, reviews, reports creation
- Fluent English (Spoken & Written)

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Experience: 2 to 5 years on IBM power systems
- Experience on AIX, iSeries and Linux software knowledge
