We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Senior Technical specialist**

Your responsibility as a Db2 System programmer will be ensuring the performance, integrity, maintenance and security across several global regions. You'll be involved in the planning and maintenance of the databases, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.

**Principal responsibilities**
- Install and test new versions Db2 / Function Levels.
- Continuous delivery of maintenance for Db2 and associated tools.
- Support and management of distributed Db2 connections.
- Engineering solutions to exploit appropriate automation.
- Stability and integrity of a highly responsive OLTP (CICS) Db2 environment.

Carry out capacity planning.

- Experience of working as a z/OS Systems Specialist with knowledge of the Db2 arena.
- Db2 production support
