Ensure compliance with Mexican government regulations and internal polices related to environmental, occupational health and safety aspects associated with the company's activities, products and services, as well as the implementation and control of corporate EHS programs to provide personnel with a safe place to work, and the implementation of programs that safeguard the site's patrimonial security and all the company's resources. Key responsibilities include Working with the Operations Team to identify and document opportunities, work on continuous improvement culture to prevent accidents, and reduction and elimination of potential risk, develop new EH&S programs, implement, and sustain corporate and local initiatives, policies and standards

**Responsibilities**:

- Permanently comply with the applicable legislation on Environmental, Health and Safety
- Implementation and control of corporate programs related with EHS
- Verify the employee’s safe work conditions.
- Maintain the official regulation documentation updating and available and identify available safety technology for the plant. Audit and coordination of the chemical warehouse controls.
- Lookup for chemical materials that have no potential impact on the employee’s health. Suppliers’ evaluation related to services, safety, or environmental issues.
- Establish the Environmental Health, Safety, and Hygiene Control goals for every one of the team and follow up the accomplishment.
- Identification and control of risks in plant operations (Physical and Environmental).
- Maintain the official regulation documentation updating and available and identify available safety technology for the plant. Audit and coordination of the chemical warehouse controls
- Promotion and Implementation of campaigns focused on occupational health.
- Supervision of the control of comprehensive waste management.
- Implementation strategies focused on the reduction of waste, energy and water consumption.
- Ensure continuous improvement in efforts focused on the culture of safety on site.
- Coordination and teamwork in new projects to validate safety, hygiene and environmental conditions in the company's areas.
- Supervise and participate in the activities of the CMSH and the operation of the security brigades
- Management of service providers for the security area which include Property Security, Waste Management, etc.
- Attention to corresponding audits (External-Internal)
- Compliance with international security standards requested by corporate customers and suppliers, such as the standards of the company's insurer.
- Maintain and monitor compliance with ITAR requirements.
- Ensure continuous certification in CTPAT, monitoring and supervising compliance with established standards.
- Ensure the certification of the site in OEA Mexico

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or similar degree.
- 10+ years of Manufacturing Experience in Core Processes (molding, assembly, plating and stamping, Aerospace industry desirable)
- Experience on handling hazardous waste, recycling, and energy savings.
- Strong knowledge on Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and International Traffic in Arms
- Strong Knowledge on state and federal regulations (STPS, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, CEDES, etc.
- Familiar with ITAR Certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize and communicate with all levels of organization.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and have the ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment to achieve prescribed deliverables.
- Strong computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP / ERP, Statistical software, simulation software and Microsoft Project (preferred)
- Aerospace standard AS9100 knowledge (preferred).
- Lean manufacturing knowledge.
- Engineering analysis to identify root cause
