**Job objective**

Ensure the quality of our products by complying with the quality of the processes seeking to exceed customer expectations.

Guarantee compliance with the specifications and requirements of customers and their products, as well as attention to it.

Ensure the implementation, compliance, measurement and communication of quality systems including IATF16949:2016.

**Job Specific Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for quality assurance in manufactured products and for the performance and implementation of preventive and corrective actions in the area at Resonac Mexico.
- Responsible for direct communication and interaction with the Client (authorized) to discuss issues related to the quality of the process and the additional product has access to the portals and websites of the client.
- Responsible for sending clients the PPAP's and all documentation related to the quality of new products, materials, changes in processes and the product for their approval.
- Actively participates together with the personnel under their charge in APQP activities.
- Supports the Quality Management System so that it is maintained, changes are planned and implemented, and in addition to achieving the necessary certifications and recertifications to maintain this system.
- Responsible for promoting safety, hygiene, 5's, continuous improvement, and corrective and preventive actions within the work group.
- Encourages work team to comply with and train quality objectives for both the quality section and the company.
- Procures the necessary resources so that its work team can carry out its activities in pursuit of the objectives of the quality section
- Responsible for coordinating all activities related to the quality of supplier products such as: receipt inspection, supplier claims, supplier response analysis, performance monitoring and qualification, etc.
- Responsible for identifying and analyzing the risks in his process, as well as having the authority to establish the process maps of the quality system.
- Responsible for receiving, knowing and reporting customer requirements as well as ensuring the selection of critical features and specific product requirements.
- Authority to divert the product and process in relation to Engineering.
- Product identification authority (labels).
- Carrying out LPA's audits.
- Compliance with institutional and governmental environmental and safety regulations applicable to the plant

**Authorities of the position (For activities that affect the quality objectives)**:
Authorized to stop the production process of the product in which anomalies are detected.

Authorized to implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid bad production.

**Relevance and importance of the position (How it contributes to the quality objectives)**:

- This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of 100% of the products we manufacture in the company and is authorized to release the product.
- Gives support to quality audits by the certifying company and is responsible for client audits.
- Customer representative in the company.
- It is in charge of informing senior management about the efficiency and effectiveness of its processes and the performance of the Quality Management System.

**Job Requirements**:
**Education**:
Professional career in the Engineering area.

**Training**:
Bilingual, Spanish-English.

Knowledge of quality systems such as QS9000, IATF16949:2016, or any other similar.

Basic knowledge of statistical tools.

Knowledge of geometric tolerances.

Extensive knowledge of implementation of Internal Audit processes of system, product and process.

Knowledge of performing PPAP and APQP.

Knowledge of Core Tools: PFMEA, PCP, PFD, MSA, R&R, etc.

Knowledge of Audit by Layers LPAs.

Staff Administration.

Leadership.

Decision making.

**Skills**:
Excellent oral and written communication in Spanish-English

Management of quality laboratory tools

Calculation of PPK's, CPK's, PPM's, etc.

Management of computer equipment

Organization and teamwork

Leadership

Administration of material and human resources

**Experience**:
5 years of experience developing this position or 8 years of experience in the quality area in the automotive industry as area manager.

Ability to commute/relocate:
