Design machines that dig, load and haul autonomously. Run digital simulations predicting how yet-to-be-built components will perform in the field. **Job Purpose**:
To gain basic experience in the design, development, and maintenance of new tooling’s like tack and weld fixtures, locating and validation templates, transport cars and lifting devices.

**Job Duties**:
Work is directed by a Supervising Engineer, Staff Engineer or Project Engineer and is normally supported daily by technical personnel, test and evaluation engineers, plant personnel and suppliers.

Applies oral and written skills to communicate technical information regarding design concepts and development.

Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc.

**Background/Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and electrical or similar engineering degree.

Minimum 2 years of experience in tooling design or mechanical design

Experience with design programs: CAD, CREO, Solidworks

English desired

Must have strong problem solving and good communications skills.
