About the role:
The
**Remarketing Manager** is responsible for the general administration of activities related to the sale of repossessed units, lease-back units, company cars and units in general that GM dealers or other sellers are interested in commercializing. Offering the management of the different stages required from the grounding of the units, transportation, inspection, documentation, auction and payment. The manager must be highly involved with suppliers executing the operation, as well as with the buyers of the units (GM dealers and other buyers), with the ultimate goal of obtaining adequate recovery levels for the units repossessed by customers who deliver them to GMF as part of negotiations regarding their debts, or maximizing profitability in the case of selling units provided by other sellers.

What you need:

- Bachelor´s Degree in Administration, Business, or related fields. Master’s degree in administration or post
- graduate studies are a plus.
- 4+ years of experience working in Remarketing, Collections, Credit or related areas.
- Desired dealer´s sale & commercialization background.
- High level of experience managing and dealing with external vendors.
- Leadership experience managing teams (3+ years).
- Proficient English Skills, both verbal & written
- Proficient influencing and negotiations skills
- First class communication skills at all levels, including active listening.
- Analytical skills to assess performance of the operations, ability to minimize risk and solve problems.
- Pursues assignments with creativity, energy, and drive.
- Ability to quickly find common ground and solve problems, including deal with ambiguity.
- Ability to embrace change and to adapt to organizational challenges.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Organizational and time management skills.

What you will be doing:

- Ensure, based on price and expense controls, the maximum possible value from the sale of the units, positively impacting the company's indicators.
- Become aware of the future business opportunities and sales support offered by the DealerSource auction platform, which is controlled by the area.
- Assure adequate management of outsourced service providers, including auction houses, transportation vendors, inspectors, etc
- Manage staff: Active participation leading the team members, providing training, creating work schedules and maximizing their capabilities, guiding them to achieve and exceed the objectives of the area.
- Develop effective succession plans for the team, ensuring internal continuity.
- Promote relationships, business growth and productivity enhancements whilst maximizing service standards and recoveries for the company.
- Ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations & internal controls and guidelines (Policies and BPMS processes) that may govern the business.
