Are you passionate about supporting the development and testing of advanced engineering products? As an Advance Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our twinax products meet and exceed customer expectations. You will be directly involved in various stages of product development, from electrical testing to material evaluation, and will help drive the success of our engineering projects.
**Our Team**
Join our dynamic Datacom & Specialty Solution Division based in Guadalajara, MX. Our team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation. You will work closely with operators, engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions in a collaborative environment.
**What You Will Do
- Support the development and testing of new and existing twinax products to meet customer expectations.
- Monitor project phases to ensure timely and accurate completion of required tests, including FOT and Qualification product runs.
- Create and update testing scripts and analyze anomalies in SI results to identify root causes.
- Conduct comparisons between external supplier products and in-house products to ensure top quality.
- Evaluate and select raw material components based on performance and supplier assessments.
- Manage the inventory of tested project samples and maintain a 'Golden' sample inventory for future comparisons.
- Contribute to Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S Management Systems by adhering to established policies and procedures.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in test and measurement.
- Working knowledge of Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).
- Proficiency in scripted programming languages.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience in testing high-speed cable assemblies.
- Extensive experience with RF/microwave test and measurement equipment.
- Working knowledge of RF/microwave transmission line theory, including s-parameters, characteristic impedance, time-domain analysis, and crosstalk.
- Good understanding of materials used in the wire and cable manufacturing process.
- Knowledge of SAP.
