Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

NI is the organization in Nokia who deliver Optical, IP and Fixed Network Technologies. Deployment Services (NI DS) comprises the provision of an end-to-end process for the implementation / integration, installation, commissioning, and site customer acceptance.

Installation Engineering creates and amends customer project telecom implementation model site engineering for business organization and optimizes telecom implementation site workflow processes. Installation Engineer is mainly assigned to customer projects but is working on both Pre-Sales and Delivery Phases as an engineering expert on IP and Optical products site installation, implementation, and installation material planning. Controls the completion of site-specific documentation like Method of process, Scope of work including approving the as-built drawings and Mentor to delivered Nokia standard implementation to internal and business Partners.

The team you will be a part of:
This position is part of the Early Careers program in Mexico. You will be working projects with different technologies for all our costumer in Mexico, you will be in touch with technical areas like Project Management, Customer Engineering, Deployment, Costumer Care, B&P, Logistic, Supply Chain and many other project stakeholders in Mexico and around the world.

What you will learn and contribute to:
Role can exist in Market, Market Unit and Country level.
- Works according to implementation plan
- Understands customer requirements
- Supports troubleshooting activities
- Performs tasks with a moderate level of guidance and within guidelines and policies (EG works with customers, architects, solutions, and integration teams to perform detailed design and integration of all parts of a product / solution)
- Supports transfer of concepts for professional direction of own organizational unit into actionable measures (EG performs installation of network elements into systems either on-site or from a remote location)
- Provides informal guidance and support to new team members regarding the procedures to follow and the specific tasks required to perform the job effectively
- Manage and Follow-up best practices of IT Management System ISO 27001

Your skills and experience
- Students enrolled in Telecom, Electrical or Electronic Engineers careers are welcome
- English proficiency (Medium Level)
