**Senior Full Stack Engineer**

**About the role**

This is a hands-on software engineering role. You will join a small team of experienced engineers that are interested in the “why”, care about quality, and love to ship product.

**What you’ll do**
- Bring expertise, opinions and technical leadership to influence technology selection, systems design and software development practice
- Communicate clearly and persuasively to influence outcomes and inspire action
- Add to a engineering culture with a strong bias for impact and getting stuff out into the world
- Contribute fresh ideas and a growth mindset to elevate standards for code quality, testing,

deployment and developer mentorship

**What we’re looking for**
- +6 years of professional experience in software engineering, building customer-facing software (startup experience preferred)
- Proven track record working with our technology stack: Python, Javascript, Typescript, React, AWS
- Attention to technical excellence, and proficiency with object-oriented programming and

distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to balance pragmatism and innovation in your technical decision-making to maximize ROI and manage risk
- Proficiency unpacking business problems into workable, logical concerns, and communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to confidently articulate the pros and cons of available solutions and offer thoughtful

recommendations that demonstrate your understanding of project and user goals, incentives and constraints
- Familiarity with modern DevOps, cloud native software development, accessibility and security standards, patterns and best practices
- Interest and ability to pair, mentor and inspire other developers through action
