Reporting to the Plant Manager you as a Senior NPI Engineer will be responsible to for managing the entire lifecycle of new product development, from initial concept through to production launch. The Senior Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure successful product introduction and seamless transition to production.

About the job:
- Collaborate with R&D and design teams to define product specifications and requirements.- Oversee the design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) aspects of new products.- New Product Introduction - Develop and implement NPI processes, including pilot runs, process validation, and production ramp-up.- Cross Functional - Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launch.- Process Improvement - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in NPD/NPI.- Strong understanding of PCBA design, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.- Proven experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Proficiency in using engineering software tools for design, simulation, and analysis (e.g., Altium Designer, AutoCAD).- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.- Familiarity with industry regulations, certification processes (e.g., ISO, UL).- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

About you:
- Bachelor or university degree in Engineering.- English Fluency 90%.- Two to five years of experience.- Knowledge of engineering practices.- Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred.- Advanced knowledge in MS Office/ Autocad.- Strong analytical skills.- Strong communication skills.- High attention to detail.- Knowledge of line balancing, standard work, material flows Knowledge of core tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA)- Project management and administration.- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, basic knowledge of the Six Sigma methodology.
