**Job Description**:
This position is **EXCLUSIVELY** for **Engineers, Architects or Construction** related majors professionals.

The Assistant Cost Manager provides support to the project team, making the difference with an accurate project cost management service, this role will be the main support to start the growing of our team in Monterrey. Construction and post-construction cost management services for a key client's industrial project.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Project tendering evaluation and Bid analysis
- Project Cost Control, construction phase: Pay apps control, construction progress checkup,
- Change control: scope validation, General Contractor rates analysis, client recommendations
- Value engineering analysis
- Montlhy report developement: cashflow and payment analysis, risk and recommendations, COs status, forecast analysis, GC performance analysis
- Close-out phase management

**Qualifications**:

- ** Needs to be based in Monterrey**, Nuevo Leon - México
- Degree-qualified** Engineering, Architecture, or construction** related major.
- ** Minimum 5 years of experience** in similar roles.
- ** Fluent in English** is mandatory.
- project cost control, change control, project cost estimating, budget control experience.
- Local market engagement.
- Knowledge and understanding of the component parts of a project and overall construction costs.
- Knowledge in Software: MS Office, Optional: Neodata, Opus or ERP software
- Exceptional relationship building skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral & written.
- Positive attitude at all times and the ability to integrate and play active part in the Construction Team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Keen to pursue personal development needs and maintain up-to-date knowledge.
