Sustainability & Cleaning Leader

**For Beiersdorf, Sustainability is a cross-functional priority. In this high visibility role, you’ll lead the global cleaning agenda to ensure excellence across the BDF manufacturing network. You will be a key enabler to factory and company sustainability targets.**:

- As the Global cleaning expert, you:

- Actively scout new cleaning technologies and processes & drive pilot implementations of new technologies
- Develop standardized cleaning processes in regard to product type and equipment
- Bring in depth cleaning process knowledge to support investment and master plan projects
- Support the Global Sustainability team as a cleaning expert - focus on water consumption
- Own & maintain the BDF Global Cleaning Guidebook
- Co-develop and roll-out a global roadmap for cleaning
- Define (future) cleaning technology standards and requirements with strong focus on Sustainability (and of course Safety, Quality, Performance and Costs)
- Identify opportunities for improvement of existing processes and installations; drive roll out of key projects
- Align roadmap with internal stakeholders and their respective roadmaps e.g. Safety, Quality, Engineering, Sustainability & Operations
- Build and drive a global Cleaning Community across all Beiersdorf Production Centers
- Collect, analyze, and share relevant data among production centers and other stakeholders
- Setup an effective collection and exchange of best practices between production centers
- Lead the creation of a Beiersdorf “Cleaning Capability Center”, a global Center of Excellence for cleaning topics (cleaning issues from production centers, (innovation) project support and technology development)
- Develop and drive training programs to develop global and local capabilities

Your Profile
- Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Chemistry, B.Tech / M.Tech (Cosmetics/ Chemical Engineering/Pharmacy/Food Technology / Environmental sciences)
- Good knowledge of:

- GMP standards for food/pharma/life science/cosmetics manufacturing
- Equipment used in food/pharma/life science/cosmetics manufacturing
- Microbiology, preservatives and their influence on food/pharma/life science/cosmetic manufacturing and cleaning processes
- Different cosmetic & personal care formula ingredients, their chemistry, manufacturing, and cleaning processes
- Skills:

- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Strong stakeholder Management skills: can drive change in non
- hierarchical relations and effective communicator at different levels in the organization
- Healthy level of self-confidence and independence as well as strong social skills
- Global orientation and mindset; at home in a multicultural/country environment
- Mobile & willing to travel
- Proactive, open-minded, team oriented, entrepreneurial.
