**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Credit Analyst is responsible for investigation, analysis, escalation and resolution of customer accounts receivable issues to ensure timely payment and to maximize company cash flow
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for investigation, analysis, escalation and resolution of customer accounts receivable issues to ensure timely payment and to maximize company cash flow.
- Account responsibility for major customers, Mexico to Mexico activity along with Spanish speaking customers shipped from the US plants (approximately $37 million USD in total receivables portfolio responsibility, could change depending on needs of team.)
- Travel required for customer meetings to build relationships and resolve process and payment issues.
- Travel required for internal meetings with the shipping locations and corporate offices to solidify processes and deepen relationships within the team.
- Work within customer portals to confirm invoice status and work to resolve payment issues.
- Escalation to CFS leadership, sales, etc.
- Account management involving credit approval, initiation of collection activity, and resolution of delinquent accounts.
- Responsible for maintaining customer relationships, setting and achieving past due reduction goals, as well as reporting progress regularly to management.
- Interact with sales, plant personnel, and other departments within Federal-Mogul to resolve problems that result is customer non-payment.
- Monitor and adjust customer credit limits.
- Other financial projects and analysis including, but not limited to; customer dispute resolution/follow-up and monthly reporting duties.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
- EDUCATION:
- Bachelors of Finance/Business preferred, NACM CBA/CICP certification preferred- EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience- REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in Spanish and English required.
- Ability to travel within Mexico and US.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good math and organizational skills
- Detail and results oriented
- Able to prioritize work
- Highly motivated to work in a team environment
- Takes initiative to solve problems and to suggest proactive solutions
- Self-starter and self-directed
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
