MX Electronic Materials Account Manager

Position Summary:

The MX Account manager will be part of the Americas Electronic Materials (EM) Business unit. The EM business unit is one of the most lucrative and highest growth businesses within Momentive. EM covers a broad range of markets including Optical Bonding for video displays, Aerospace/Aviation/Defense, Consumer Electronics and Automotive. Momentive has a significant presence in the these markets and our products have a deep history of usage and adoption within this market. We have shown a great track record of growth in the Mexico region and we need this role to continue that growth trajectory.

This position will report directly to the Americas EM Commercial leader.

**Job Description**:

- Maintain existing accounts and build relationships within those accounts to enable future growth
- Identify new opportunities where our EM business can add value/solve problems within existing customer base
- Work closely with the Product management teams and the plants to resolve any supply issues and proactively work to identify and solve any of these potential issues.
- Work closely with the Technical Sales Engineer to support new account setup and their efforts to close new business.
- Lead some smaller programs and work independently from remote office with a small amount of travel to build relationships and support the accounts.
- Ability to interface with customers to determine if a relevant existing grade solves their technical challenges or drive new products by working with the Technical Sales Engineer.
- Meet business growth expectations by developing new accounts and/or increasing business with existing accounts.
- Leverage and work with our Distribution network to promote sales of our products
- Work with a global team

Additional Details:
Min Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree required and technical discipline is preferred
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), familiar with SAP.
- Customer service or previous account management roles

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5 years of account management or customer service related role. Experience in an organization selling Specialty Materials or making electronic components
- Previous work in a global organization
