**About The Role**

As **Professional **Veterinary Affairs University Specialist** you will be part of the LATAM Professional & Veterinary Affairs team and you will lead the execution of a complete & integrated program to strengthen our engagement with the vet students, residents, post-graduation and professors. Also you will have responsibility for developing and implementing the Vet University Program strategy in order to improve its reach and effectiveness. It is a very influential role as the ‘face of Hill’s’ with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

**What You Will Do**
- Build veterinary endorsement, recommendation and use of Hill’s products in veterinary clinics.
- Implement plans for key target audiences including: Key Leaders With Vision (academic and non-academic); practicing veterinarians; non-veterinarian health care team members in practices; students and faculty at veterinary and technician schools; and, Hill’s distributors
- Write the fundamental to position our brand and team as a partner who is engaged in improving the health of dogs and cats and in supporting the profession as a key collaborator delivering the Hill’s mission to help enrich and lengthen the special relationships between people and their pets
- Strengthen veterinarians understanding and knowledge of our products and making nutrition a more integral part of veterinary medicine by educating veterinarians to implement a nutritional assessment and specific dietary recommendation for Every Pet, Every Time

**What You Need (Required Qualifications)**
- Doctorate professional degree in veterinary medicine (DVM or MVZ)
- Master, residency or post-graduation in dogs and cats nutrition or feline medicine/dermatology
- At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary practice (or a similar job) or in veterinary industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be a great teammate
- Digital proficiency
- Availability to travel
- Advanced English Level
