Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology).
Your unit’s main priorities are flawless execution of System programs including Network Management & Optimization and attached services.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

Material Management (MMA) associates with the sourcing process in which the 1st and 2nd tier supplier collaboration management is conducted, including supply capability and inbound models management as well as ordering, delivery, receipt, and transfer of raw material items, subassemblies, product and/or services, and the handling of all related exceptions and escalations. The Buyer ensures material availability to point of use without exceeding agreed total cost and inventory levels. Is responsible for the daily operative management of suppliers and supply network, operative forecasting, order management, and problem-solving on a local or global level.

**Your skills and experience**

Key responsibility areas in delivery capability creation
- Participation in advanced development, technology development, and product program work based on the allocation
- Forecasting, ordering, delivery, and version control & inventory management
- Create and Maintain Purchasing data in the MRP system (incl. component master data)
- Ensure inbound material availability against the demand during program and ramp phase - onsite/factory with optimized logistics total landed cost
- Supplier communication and correspondence for proto builds and ramp (e.g. build qty, dates, interface meetings, design details)
- Regularly monitor supplier performance (response time, quality, etc.,) and ensure that corrective actions will be implemented
- Responsible for On-time material availability / lead time management.
- Understand and explain the impact of the technical changes to lead-times and availability
- Executes orders and supports forecasting for internal and external suppliers
- Monitor contractual obligations and sign NDA when needed - Invoice error clarification and resolution, monitor GRIR report
- Control of non -conforming material (NCM) returns and rework
- Reduce total cost and lead times through working with cross-functional category teams, R&D, manufacturing suppliers
- Manages inventories (stock level review, order book management, Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) management and reporting)
- Is operative 1st level supplier management (EG supplier collaboration including KPI monitoring and capacity utilization follow-up)
- Manages exceptions (invoice clarification, returns, quality claims, etc).
- Ensure handover readiness for volume production based on Purchasing Capability handover plan
- Quotes and Cost negotiations working in alignment with a responsible global team
- Contribute and participate in supplier audits when needed (DCC audit)
- Reduction of total landed cost for the final product, inventories, NCM
- Drive reduction of value scrapped program materials through proactive planning and timely change communication

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience in material management.
- Material management and directly related experience in complex electronics/Telecom/Automotive/Aerospace manufacturing required.
- Knowledge of product life cycles, critical milestones in product development, and following the established process required.
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes.
- Purchasing experience across electronics and mechanics commodities.
- Good business understanding
- Good in communications and negotiations with interpersonal skills.

- SAP Working Knowledge
