**Objetivo del puesto**:
To develop and design supply chain solutions for the most complex projects: - Manage solution design deliverables across highly complex projects - Model scenarios of current and future operational solutions & present and advise alternative cost benefit analysis & value models - Advise the customer in new & innovative solutions which address the customer needs and demonstrate clear solution fit - Support the development of a commercial framework for proposed solution with Business Development & Key Account Managers in order to achieve DSC's growth, contract retention and continuous improvement objectives.

**A quién buscamos?**:
Divisional Experience
- Experience in other division (e.g. GCS, DGF, etc.) beneficial
- Wide ranging knowledge of divisional products and capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of all Sectors, Customers and Products
- End to End SC Experience
- Full understanding of all SD tools, techniques and procedures

Functional Experience
- Warehouse and supply chain knowledge at a detailed level.
- Sales experience
- Must have exposure to modeling of complex warehousing network, logistics / transport operations, etc
- An advanced user of tools such as Microsoft Excel to perform complex data analysis
- Experience in at least one modeling / simulation tool

Education / Qualification / Certification Requirements
- Degree/ Masters in relevant discipline
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in solution design and transport management

**Actividades principales**:
Customer
- Develop collaborative relationships with customers to understand their priorities and requirements
- Interacts with local customer management to uncover needs & opportunities
- Delivers services and solutions to customers that meet budget, quality and service levels
- Drives / supports development of new / innovative services and solutions to meet customer needs, supporting the growth agenda
- Ensures that customer projects and activities are planned and resourced for success
- Works with team / colleagues to ensure plans, processes and activity are aligned to customer needs
- Ensures our solutions are competitive by understanding the competitive environment in which DHL operates as well as our competitors solutions and approaches, allowing us to differentiate ourselves from their offering when required.

Stakeholder
- Develops collaborative relationships with leaders of other functions involved in new business opportunities, renewals and continuous improvement (e.g. BD, Operations, Project Management, Risk, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, etc.) to continuously improve the solution design process, production of deliverables (e.g. solutions, proposals, etc.) and to ensure required resources are available
- Interacts with own unit senior management and project sponsors to ensure that the Solutions Design Team is meeting own unit expectations.
- Successfully influences internal stakeholders to gain required support & resources to deliver against agreed customer commitments.
- Proactively develops & utilises network internally and externally to gather & share information on best practice with other key stakeholders

Strategizing

Interprets local business needs to develop solution design strategies Communicates the objectives and rationale behind the strategy to own team, outlines the steps by which the strategy will be achieved.
- Sets clear priorities and keeps the team focused on efforts that add significant value. Designing solutions to deliver business growth, retain and improve existing business
- Identify & manage Solution design resource requirements
- Manage the budget and resolve spending issues
- Coach the team in the use of resource calculation & costing tools
- Validate solution results against key financial BCA (Business Case Approval) expectations. - Coach the team to be compliant with the DSC Solution Design process
- Drive CAPA culture & process (corrective & preventative actions)
- Create opportunities for the team to develop key SDskills
- Coach & provide feedback to the team on how best to present solution fit to customer -Govern the quality of Concept Of Operations documentation -Develop customer coaches to help DHL win business-Develop capabilities of Solution Design team -Lead & coach team in Solution Design Project Management & planning skil
