Punta Brava Golf and Surf Club, located in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico is seeking an adventurous 1st Assistant Superintendent to help lead the grow-in at their extremely private and exclusive golf course.

Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of the peninsula off of Ensenada, Mexico, Punta Brava Golf and Surf Club is an exclusive sanctuary. The golf course is framed by the Pacific coastline on three sides and this spectacular backdrop provides the golf course with multiple holes with over-ocean carry.

Tom Doak, a well-known golf course architect whose designs are often praised for their strategic and naturalistic elements, as well as their integration with the surrounding landscape is leading the project. Doak is considered one of the leading figures in modern golf course architecture.

**INITIAL PRIORITIES OF POSITION**:

- Learns the property, culture and operations
- Participates in daily scheduling and maintenance of the golf course
- Develops rapport and consistent communication with staff and department heads
- Help build out and grow the maintenance team

**KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, APTITUDE AND OTHER TRAITS**:

- Team player, who is unselfish and willing to handle the fine details of the operation as much as big picture projects.

- Willingness to learn new outside the box methods and the latest technologies in golf course maintenance.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree or Certificate in Agronomy or related field preferred, but not required
- 3+ years of experience in golf course management; supervisory roles preferred.

**SALARY AND BENEFITS**:

- $85,000 - $90,000
