**PRODUCTION** SUPERVISOR**

**MAIN FUNCTIONS**:

- Directs and Coordinates shop floor operators to perform the required activities to complete production orders.
- Performs the Production Order planning function which includes organizing and prioritizing production orders, define production sequence, and manage resources efficiently.
- Prepares Operational Schedules and Coordinates Manufacturing activities to meet specifications as well as reviewing Production and Operating Reports solving Operational Manufacturing and Maintenance Problems to ensure Minimum Costs and prevent Operational Delays.
- Responsible for Evaluating the Performance of Subordinates and Recommending the appropriate Development Plans. Recommends or initiates Personnel measures such as Promotions, Transfers Dismissals and Disciplinary Actions.
- Develops, Modifies and Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Production Function.
- Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating and Developing the Manufacturing as well as acting as a Facilitator. Responsible for Promoting and Maintaining Interdepartmental harmony.
- Keeps track of departmental and site performance metrics. Uses this information to develop improvement plans and define corrective actions as needed.

**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Professional Degree (Industrial Engineer or other Engineering Degree desirable with supervisor training)
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt desired

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 3 to 5 years within a Production Supervisory Role.
- Worked in the Health Care Industry or Suppliers to the Health care industry preferred

**LEVEL OF ENGLISH FLUENCY**:

- 3 Advanced

**COMPUTER USAGE**:

- 3. Intermediate (Use of OFFICE: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.) and
- Application Programs ERP, MS Project, VISIO, etc.

**SKILLS**:

- Requires Ability to work effectively with remote teams.
- Proven experience with supervisory roles, employee evaluation and production execution.
- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Possesses strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to work with equipment and maintain accurate documentation records.
- US Visa, available to travel
