**American Express Travel & Lifestyle Services** provides our premium Card Members around the world with a full range of travel services, from trip planning and booking to enhancing the broader travel experience.

The Travel Consultant is a critical frontline role in our contact center, answering calls from our premium card members in a fast-paced environment.

If you are a tenured travel professional or have a career in hospitality or tourism; if you have a flair for exceptional customer service, a passion for learning and natural curiosity, this role may be for you. With an intensive paid training and mentor program, here is your chance to be a highly skilled Travel Consultant. Here is just some of what you could be doing every day.

**How will you make an impact in this role?**
- Deliver world-class customer service in an in-bound, high-volume travel call servicing environment.
- Delight our customers with unforgettable travel experiences by creating new bookings and servicing existing travel arrangements.
- Research, plan, and build personalized travel experiences, through booking domestic and international flights, car, and hotel travel arrangements.
- Understand our customer needs through consultation to deliver innovative and extraordinary interactions.
- Communicate new and existing product offerings and value propositions relevant to the Card Member.
- Always put the Card Member’s experience at the forefront of everything you do, reinforcing the Membership Firstapproach, delivering excellent service and outcomes that are core to our brand.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- 2-years work experience in travel and tourism.
- Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Tourism or other related experiences in travel or tourism
- Experience with GDS systems. (SABRE, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus, etc).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to provide premium customer service, preferably in a call center or other comparable fast paced servicing environment.
- Basic geography knowledge with ability to locate continents, countries, and key travel destinations world-wide.
- Natural communicator who can demonstrate active listening skills and adapt to conversation to suit the situation and the customer's communication style.
- Be accountable to meet and exceed goals in a result focused environment.
- Positive attitude and outlook, as demonstrated through a desire to learn, willingness to try new things, resiliency through change and optimism.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- In-depth knowledge and experience with the Argentinean market.

**Additional Requirements**
- Availability to work fulltime including nights and weekends.
