Buyer Supervisor

**Job Details**

**What you will do**:

- Overseeing activities related to the procurement of Direct materials.
- Establishes goals and objectives for purchasing department.
- Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
- Supplier-related initiatives including selection, qualification, negotiations and on-going assessment.
- Manage and lead a team of buyers and expeditors to meet procurement and supplier management objectives.
- Implement processes with suppliers to improve on time delivery
- Ensures continuity of raw material supply to support production schedules and balances with achieving inventory level targets.
- Analyzes inventory levels. Supports process to manage excess and obsolete material
- Monitors on-time supplier deliveries, inventory turns, MRP execution, lead-time reduction, supplier performance and cost analysis.
- Inventory level Management
- Saving / Improvement projects
- Responsible to coordinate the Engineering Changes and New Parts New Release process from the Purchasing side.

**What we look for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years’ experience in purchasing, material planning or production control is recommended.
- Detailed oriented, leadership, negotiation, teamwork, integrity
- Knowledge of SAP MM module on a proficiency level.
- Advance English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience in a team environment
- Have experience supervising people
- Experienced, working in a custom-made manufacturing environment.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge.
- Knowledge and development of ISO 9001:2000 standards.
- Responsible, well organized, immediate response to all internal and external customers.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work under pressure.
