Quality Technician

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Quality Technician.

**What you’ll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

A. Support all quality aspects for Eaton’s new Aguascalientes manufacturing site. During the initial phase, these people would be supporting equipment install runoff and verifications, new documentation, quality system implementation, and other quality related start-up activities.
B. As move into the production phase individuals would propose, implement continuous improvement related to quality.
C. Support daily and long-term goals for processing, quality, productivity and cost reduction and support production work teams to accomplish quality-related department action plans

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

A. Provide quality support and guidance on all equipment installs, runoffs, PPAP’s, and start of production ramp-up. Including MSA’s calibrated equipment, capability studies, process control plans, etc.
B. Supporting the setup of site gaging and inspection labs.
C. Developing site quality documentation and supporting certifications.
D. Provide technical quality support to both internal customers and suppliers as needed.
E. Participate in production improvement meetings to provide a support function
F. Support plant internal audit LPA
G. Responsible of adjust Non-Destructive Test (Ultrasonic, Penetrant liquids and Eddy Current)
H. Responsible of frequency in Manufacturing Process
I. Responsible of verification services of instrumental and measurement equipment
J. Make certificate according to quality standard
K. Update database of measurement equipment
L. Responsible of control quarantine area
M. Interpret drawing and technical document of customer
N. Make master Gage in setup and change over
O. Administrate and review document and report of external calibration
P. Get training relationship according his/her area
R. Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
S. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results

**Qualifications**:
**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE**

A. Technical degree from an accredited institution
B. Great communication skills
C. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
D. Knowledge of statistical process control methodology
E. Ability to effectively use Power Point, Excel, Office

**Skills**:
**Preferred**:
A. Technical degree in accredited institution
B. Metrology Laboratory
C. Experience in Measurement Equipment
D. Geometrical Tolerance and Critical Characteristic
E. Prior experience working in a manufacturing industry
F. Prior experience with IATF, ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 17025
G. Prior experience with Quality Core Tools of APQP, MSA, PFMEA, PPAP and SPC
H. Prior experience with statistical software (ex. Minitab)
I. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly processes, equipment technology, and equipment capability
