Sr. Buyer

Sr. Buyer for Glass /Seals /Mirrors/ Wipers/ Washer/ Horn group, responsible for program sourcing and productivity achievement based on regional performance targets. Main activities: Project sourcing, price negotiations and monitoring, regional and global market benchmark, quotation analysis, commercial support for quality, logistics, packaging and vendor tooling topics.

**Job Functions**:
Supervision and leadership functions within APO team.

This position will work directly with APO Line-side Teams for the management and follow up for all items related to suppliers, projects, current programs and Sourcing.

Will also work with SCM in the identification and implementation of supplier capacity needs.

Track and analyze all supplier and production plant requests.

Work with ACO and Design members to validate and justify optimal prices.

Work with Engineering to ensure tracking and Implementation of Technical ideas.

Purchasing KPI´s closure and follow up.

Able to work independently and without minimum daily supervision.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in economics/administration or related discipline to industrial or automotive engineering.

**Previous experience**:
3-5 years of related experience at a professional level in Direct Purchasing in automotive industry or OEM.

**Required knowledge**:
Commodity, market and commercial knowledge.

**Language**:
English (Advanced)

**Computer skills**:
Office, SAP.

**Competences**:
Good communication skills-both verbal and written; interpersonal

Negotiation, cost, and manufacturing process analysis skills.

Leadership/ supervision skills.

Occasional travel.
