- As a Treasury Operations Representative, you will perform staff level Treasury functions to support various Treasury activities depending on location and business unit. Provides consulting services to business units/legal entity partners to improve Treasury operations. _The position will have responsibility for the leadership and support of Trade Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and the Inventory 180 dealer financing program. Ensure that best practices are embedded within the organization.

**Job Statistics**

Support the dealer inventory financing program: ~$800 million

Support the trade finance program that generates bank fees: ~$12 million

**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:

- Administer the Trade Finance program within the treasury system module. Issue Trade Finance instruments through banks on behalf of Caterpillar Inc. Prepare Trade Finance reports for management on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Collaborate with business units on Trade Finance support needs. Onboard Trade Finance in business units, as applicable. Lead the Trade Finance deployment and corresponding training to business units.
- Provide support and assistance to business units with requests for parent guarantees. Also assist with issuances of parent guarantees to banks backstopping Trade Finance facilities. Perform quarterly guarantee valuations for SEC reporting.
- Participate in monthly review sessions with the regional treasury centers in EAME and APD.
- Lead Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Internal Audit, and Price Waterhouse Coopers reviews for Trade Finance as needed. Develop, update and maintain documentation for Trade Finance audits to ensure acceptable controls are in place.
- Provide support to Treasury managers on Merger and Acquisitions (M&A). Develop expertise on Treasury’s role in the M&A process. Support the Corporate Cash M&A payment process.
- Support Inventory 180 Treasury process owner in managing the dealer financing program in collaboration with dealers and insurers. Prepare and maintain Inventory 180 dealer financial model. Collaborate with the Inventory 180 and Regional Finance Managers to determine the applicable credit limits. Coordinate to secure the limit approval and exceptions.
- Support the Inventory 180 program renewal process. Participate, coordinate and present in annual review sessions with internal and external stakeholders. This may include but is not limited to meetings with the Vice President & Corporate Treasurer of Finance Services Division, the Vice President(s) of Distribution, the Regional Finance Managers of the Distribution Services Division, the dealer / insurers and legal. Maintain Inventory 180 dealer financing program communications and documentation.
- Responsible to facilitate the budget of fees and payments of invoices as needed.
- Lead projects to conclusion by compiling information, analyzing data, recommending and implementing solutions; and provide information and analysis used to make and/or influence business decisions.
- Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.
- Moderate travel required (5% - 15% of working time).

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in finance, business administration, accounting or economics
- 5 to 8 years of finance related experience
- English Conversational

- Knowledge of company policies, practices, and systems
- Knowledge of other business functions

**Additional Details**:

- This position will be located in Monterrey or Mexico City
- Moderate travel required (5% - 15% of working time).
- Hybrid mode
