IVAnti Engineer

**Project** Description**:
Our client is a US subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.
We are currently looking to build a distributed ~20 strong team of functional analysts, infrastructure and DevOps specialists, test engineers and developers led by an on-site project manager to assume full responsibility for project delivery.
Anticipated project duration is ~ 1 year. Luxoft is proposing permanent employment, competitive salary and benefits package and possibility to move to different projects within Luxoft upon the project completion.
The intent is to operate in WFH mode mostly, working from the office is possible upon request.

**Responsibilities**:

- The position requires a senior-level engineer with a minimum of 5 years of Windows-based configuration experience within in a large and diverse enterprise environment.
- At least 2 years experience is required specializing in engineering in Ivanti User Workspace Manager 10.x (formerly AppSense Environment Manager 8.6, Application Manager 8.6), Citrix products, and SCCM with Virtual Desktop.
- Global task overview:
- Working with End User client OS Release management process to find the root cause of defects related to Applications and OS settings and Group Policy Objects for Windows 7, 10 and Server 2012/2016 OS.
- Closely work with Application Owner, Packaging team and Build a team to work on defects root causes and update the status according to the release management team.
- Follow Allianz process to import Environment Manager snippets from Client Proof of Concept and development environments.
- Handling end-user client configuration-related tickets in Remedy and ServiceNow.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Interface with internal resources (eg. Build, Operations, Application Owners, Release management and Packaging) to define solution requirements
- Create a document for known issues and their solution for Second Level Support.
- Manage workload, report on status, and proactively escalate issues.
- Provide technical support to other team members as required.

Must have
- Mandatory Skills:
- Working Knowledge on Ivanti UWM Product Suite
- Working Knowledge of GPOs affecting client devices (local and AD) (good to know).
- Working Knowledge of Citrix VDI infrastructure and products
- Advanced troubleshooting skills on Windows operating system.
- Understanding of remote desktop / virtual machines.
- Knowledge of SCCM Software distribution and OS task sequencing

Qualifications:
- 5+ years Windows-based configuration experience.
- 2+ Years of experience on GPO activities (local and AD).
- 2+ Years of Experience on Appsense/iVanti UWM, UAM
- 2+ years Documentation writing for internal and client publication.
- 2+ years on Desktop Virtualization.
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, interacting with a distributed team.
- Ability to follow procedures and escalate problems in a timely manner.
