Requisition ID: 38947- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXWe have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our diverse team. The Senior Accountant is a key position within the Finance Community and is responsible for general ledger processes, fixed asset accounting and validation and analysis of financial results for multiple locations. The Senior Accountant partners with local, regional and global Finance colleagues to ensure an accurate and timely month-end close. You will work closely with a broad range of employees within all levels of the organization on continuous improvement and other relevant projects.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Responsible for accurate and timely period-end closings including reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and ability to explain results in detail.
- Monthly reporting to the business units and internal customers.
- Prepare or review/approve monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain or review/approve fixed asset sub ledger activities.
- Initiate and/ or participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare internal and external audit schedules and respond to inquiries.

**Background & Skills**:

- Business degree in Accounting combined with 5+ years of accounting experience is required.
- Experience with multinational companies and SAP is required.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence, Hyperion/HFM/EPM, Microsoft Excel and PPT.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, individually, in groups and across cultures
