**The Objective of this Role**:
Lead a technical team of consultants to support our clients in their project delivery. Your responsibility is to support, manage and develop our consultant’s throughout the entire life-cycle while on project. You will drive high-quality work within expected timeframes and on Budget, while managing expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Understand Information Tech Consultants’ offerings and help assess/present ways to serve clients. In addition, you will use your skills in marketing, leadership, coaching, and mentoring to deliver quality client services to some of the top companies in the world.

**Who You Are**:
We have an immediate need for a high-energy, professional Consultant Development Manager who is a relentless coach, and mentor, and who has a high ability to influence others as a leader.

This position involves managing and developing a diverse group of IT field employees. It requires you to have experience in actively managing IT professionals, their actual IT projects, and their career development.

It also requires your ability to manage the revenue of your field employees’ projects, ensure billing continues, projects get extended, and that our accounts with our vendors remain strong and solidified.

You are a strong relationship-builder: You forge authentic, long-lasting relationships with the field employees you manage, to ensure their success, performance, and longevity with the company.

Passion: Having a passion and true vested interest in finding common ground with those you lead is paramount. You want to genuinely get to know those you lead and strive for consistent, daily/weekly contact with those you lead (both professional, performance-development conversations, and personal, "getting-to-know you” conversations).

Metrics: Revenue, field employee on project count, scoring, field employee retention - there are many measurable areas that you will be driving, tracking, and communicating on a regular basis. Some metrics will be qualitative (and may require operating in the “grey”) and most will be quantifiable (physical, measurable, timebound figures).

Ultimately, you describe yourself as goal-driven and set goals that are specific, measurable, and time-bound. You can explain the "why" behind what you require of your field employees - to avoid any miscommunication, misunderstanding, or lack of performance. You understand that you are accountable for owning your role and the results. You promptly raise issues and offer up solutions to the best of your ability.

**Day to Day**:
This position involves managing and developing each field employees throughout their career, or lifecycle, with our company.

The field employees’ lifecycle includes three phases: Training, Marketing (Bench), and On-Project.

You will assist and guide onboarding field employees with their onsite technical training in the office.

Once field employee training is complete, you will prepare your field employees in effective technical and 'actively engaging' (soft skills) behaviors so that they may successfully interview for landing contract projects during marketing.
