We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support the following activities:

- Monthly close activities (Accrual entries, publication of financial reports, financial notes, and variance analysis vs. budget)
- Identifying billing, A/R, and A/P issues and resolving them with internal service groups
- Forecasting cash flow and preparing a periodic funding analysis for developing communities
- Annual community budget preparation with recommendations to the community manager and client Boards
- Review and approval of vendor invoices and disbursement requests
- Bank and investment account reconciliations for non-banking partner accounts
- Cash management and consultation
- Answering questions and providing information for external auditors and tax return preparers.
- Serving as a financial liaison for community managers, community boards, and shared services team members

Portfolio of 40 to 45 associations

**Work schedule**

Monday to Friday: 9:00 - 18:00 MX CST

This role is remote, and we only hire in Mexico for this position.

**Requirements**:

- **MUST: Advanced English** - technical/accounting vocabulary (Strong communication skills: writing and speaking)
- Around 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with financial statements.
- Understanding of accrual accounting and US GAAP
