Your Role and Responsibilities
- Writing test plans for Spectrum Virtualize releases, liaising with the squad, the wider development team and the architecture team.
- Defining performance goals and measurements.
- Identifying performance bottlenecks and working with the team to remove them.
- Improve our continuous integration tools and integrate them with our performance measurements.
- Liaise with our performance engineers and developers in multiple IBM development labs.
- Expand and open up performance services to the wider development and test teams - performance as a service.
- Presenting performance data and results to development teams, leads and architects.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in Software testing
- Demonstrated experience in complex problem solving.
- Test automation experience/skills (scripting languages knowledge i.e Python, Perl, Bash)
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting problems with systems

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in storage products
- Experience as a Storage/Unix Administrator
- Experience in VMware or other Hardware virtualization tools.
