Responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources, and leading an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

What a typical day looks like:

- _Supervisa al personal de producción sobre el método de trabajo y los controles de calidad._
- _Coordina los esfuerzos del equipo de operaciones estableciendo políticas y prácticas de servicios de adquisición, producción e ingeniería._
- _Garantiza que se cumplan las normas ISO y de seguridad._
- _Proporciona supervisión y dirección al personal subordinado y coordina el flujo de trabajo dentro de la unidad de trabajo principal, incluida la distribución del trabajo, la difusión de información, la asignación de personal para cubrir las ausencias, la prestación de asistencia técnica, la respuesta a preguntas y la resolución de problemas dentro de la unidad de trabajo supervisada._
- _Supervisa el desarrollo e implementación de programas de entrenamiento dentro de la unidad de trabajo supervisada._
- _Sirve como enlace entre la unidad de trabajo y otras oficinas y agencias externas para la distribución y recopilación de información y para resolver problemas operativos._
- _Desarrolla e implementa nuevos procedimientos y responde a cambios en estatutos y políticas administrativas._
- _Capacita al personal en el uso de sistemas automatizados y software de procesamiento de textos, presenta nuevas versiones o funciones, soluciona problemas y asiste a reuniones._
- _Ayuda en la preparación del presupuesto para la unidad de trabajo._
- _Realiza la revisión del desempeño laboral, motivando a los subordinados a trabajar de manera más efectiva, identificando problemas con el desempeño y soluciones a esos problemas, determinando las necesidades de capacitación para mejorar el desempeño,_
- _Participa en la contratación y promoción de personal dentro de la unidad de trabajo supervisada, incluso sirviendo en un panel para entrevistar a los solicitantes y hacer recomendaciones a los superiores._
- _Prepara y/o procesa acciones de personal tales como promociones, nombramientos, traslados, licencias._
- _Supervisa el mantenimiento de registros de personal y hojas de tiempo para el personal supervisado._
- _Coordina solicitudes de tiempo libre para garantizar una cobertura adecuada._
