The following Competencies are the foundation for a successful performance as an Indirect Sourcing Coordinator (ISC):

- Good and informed decisions’ maker - ISC will need to seek information, isolate issues, hear all points of view, analyze data, act decisively and take calculated risks
- Clear communication it is a must for ISC, to promote clear understanding. This means choosing the right message medium and using active listening skills. Balancing the need to seek information with the need to be understood and the ability to communicate effectively in varied settings are required skill

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Main role should be leading team members to successfully achieve company and personal goals on Indirect Sourcing side, by coordinating and deliver quality results of the following areas:
Indirect Vendor Negotiations

ü Support benchmark process for all vendors with more relevance (spend volume, risk, type of business, etc.)

ü Support in the continuous search and develop new vendors to ensure we have the best ones (market competitiveness) within Nike

ü Support analysis current Vendors’ information, to promote better negotiations with vendors if applies

ü Support Bidding process when needed

Vendor Master Management

ü Vendor Master Data Quality Reviewer (DQR) process for LATAM + Team for Indirect Vendors

ü SAP information entry for Employees’ accounts process

ü Main performer for ABAC Controls performance

ü Development or update of Area Processes documentation

ü Quarterly vendor audit process

ü Vendor master database management including inactivation process

Special Projects & activities

ü Actively participate on special projects and keep on track until results

ü Occasionally, be the Nike representative for banking transactions

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

The Indirect Sourcing Team oversees the Source To Pay process, from the vendor market benchmarking, contracting and negotiations, the vendor database management and through the purchasing process for the Mexico territory. Many of these processes require cross functional work with other teams at Nike de Mexico, and with Nike WHQ.

Particularly, the Vendor Master Management process is a global process in which we also collaborate and support our LatAm partners, making it a multicultural experience where communication and service attitude is paramount.
