- Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Buyer Direct role involves the coordination of activities related with procuring direct materials, components and equipment.
- What a typical day looks like:

- Principal focus on purchasing metrics like PO placement, PO confirmation.
- Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery and inventories.
- Maintains standards and improvements within the organization.
- Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.
- Keep in touch with supplier and push to expedite critical items.
- Reviews requisitions and MRP output.
- The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience as Purchasing Supervisor.
- CTB and procurement knowledge.
- Good communication with customers.
- Fluent English written and spoken.
- Personality - able to handle complexity, good manage of stress, fast response, multi-tasker, good logical thinking, team player.
- CPIM and CPM is preferred.
