Mgr I Maintenance

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Managers provide leadership for cross functional engineering teams. They work with senior management to define technical road maps aligned with market directions and communicate across other Business Units to share applicable technology. Our Engineering Managers leverage TE global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to our customers. They identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders and core suppliers, define and manage IP strategy, assess talent and implement development plans to assure succession planning and organization capability.

**What your background should look like**:
Tasks, responsibilities and authority:
Coordinate all projects that are required such as lay-out changes, high and low voltage electrical installations, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical installations (internal or subcontracted).
Coordinate all support work required by the different departments
Provide technical support/advice to all value chains.
Establish / give Maintenance work procedures to define the specific activities of the personnel in charge.
Prioritize the allocation of Department resources to provide the necessary support 24hrs / Weekends
Establish the measurables and evaluations for the personnel in charge (monthly, semi-annual, annual)
Verify compliance with assigned activities (calendars, proposals, hourly / hourly boards)
Develop/Implementation of saving projects to minimize expenses (Spare parts, Consumables, Energy)
Identify and request training courses for the personnel in charge (DNC, External, internal)
Develop and update maintenance procedures based on the ISO standard
Participate in the preparation and development of company plans (EHS safety, savings, load increase)
Support the quality of production processes (Improvements, poka-yokes, Set-ups, Tooling)
Provide support in engineering activities for the incorporation or modification of processes
Promote compliance with significant environmental objectives in their work areas to their work team
Responsible for informing his work team of the environmental policy and environmental objectives
Responsibility for minimizing the specific environmental aspects and impacts of their work area
Authority and responsibility to stop a process in which there is a possibility of harming the environment or/and is outside of legal environmental compliance.

Supervise the consumption in your department and review its downward trend.

Authority to:

- Approve monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation methods as appropriate to ensure valid results.
- Shutdown of machinery or equipment if there is a safety risk for personnel
- Purchase of spare parts locally or with the OEM according to specifications

Professional experience

5 years in the Industrial maintenance area
Management of work teams and management of technical personnel.
Repair of electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment
Software management for maintenance (SAP, Preventive Maintenance Software)
PLC/HMI brand Omron / Allen Bradley (Consultation, Back ups, Alarms, change cards)
Mechanical equipment, cams, cutting systems and insertion of material
Control Fanuc injection molding equipment for tonnage 50,55,110
Presses for progressive stamping dies at 550 to 620 Blows per Minute

Specific knowledge and skills

Exercise effective leadership / weekly meetings with the team
Realization of projects to register in savings software
Interpretation and reading of mechanical / electrical / assembly plans
Conversational English 90% (spoken and written)
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015ISO 14001 standards
Knowledge of Environmental and Safety procedures.
Knowledge of the environmental management system and environmental impacts and aspects.
