**Introduction**
The Americas DS&P Program is supported by committed Security Consultants who help IBM Consulting teams to proactively mitigate security risk across the account lifecycle. Security Professionals who work as a team and collaborate with different organizations to drive compliance and remediation to contractual requirements, legislation, industry and corporate directives. Passionate IBMers looking for new ways to address the security and privacy concerns of their clients and IBM.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a Security Consultant, your role is to help IBM Consulting teams to protect our clients and IBM. And to do so, you must:

- Design and implement security and privacy controls in accordance with the corporate framework.
- Identify and communicate applicable legal, regulatory and client requirements and associated risks.
- Manage risks and applicable controls to ensure quality and timely completion of engagements.
- Complete all training required for Security Consultants in our team

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Awareness or experience of various industry standard methodology (ISO27001) mandatory
- Exposure to full life-cycle experience in large projects
- IT General Control, Data Privacy work, ISO27001, SOX, SAS70 Frameworks and regulations; IT Risk and audit experience
- Capable of delivering work that meets/performs to functional requirements based on business requirements defined and approved by the client
- Strong Communication Skills (English)

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Preferred CISSP/CRISC/CISA/PCI SQA Certified/CDPSE
