**Responsibilities**:
1. Fulfill technical requirements of the Asset Management contracts including:

- Evaluation of technical performance of client sites
- Identify data and performance issues and recommendations for improvement
- Oversee Operations and Maintenance providers and provide technical feedback and support
- Track equipment and data outages and take steps to reduce frequency and duration
- Analysis and feedback on spares strategy
- Root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Monthly reporting of site performance metrics

2. Technical Onboarding of new solar sites including:

- Drawing and design review of sites
- Review of PVSyst and setup of expected energy model
- Data evaluation of site and feedback to client on accuracy
- Provide technical guidance on handoff from developer to O&M provider
- Participate in onboarding and turnover calls with client, developer and O&M provider
- Compare design, model data and financial forecasts to identify gaps and issues

3. Consulting services including:

- Drawing and design review
- Construction and commissioning consulting services
- Performance analysis of underperforming sites

4. Other responsibilities:

- Leads creation of new standard operating procedures
- Drafts and review technical analyses, reports and presentations to internal and external audiences
- Provides leadership and coaching to other members of the technical asset management team

5. Ideally, also support regulatory responsibilities:

- Review of NERC compliance documentation to verify the documentation includes all the necessary information
- Review, verification, and organization of commissioning test records to demonstrate compliance with PRC-005 including the completion of the PRC-005 Maintenance & Testing Device Spreadsheet
- Assist in the communication and coordination with EPC and SCADA providers completion of the NERC RFI Checklist
- Assist in the completion of the PRC-024 and FAC-008 compliance reports
- Review as-left protection system settings to ensure they meet the protection system coordination study

**Required Competencies**:

- Passion: Demonstrates passion to learn in a rapidly growing and oftentimes unstructured environment.
- Technology: Proficient in the use of Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Prepares and / or provides ad hoc reports for executive management use.
- Reporting: Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Technical knowledge in the following areas:

- PV plant performance analysis
- Electrical design
- Solar industry best practices
- Substation concepts
- PV simulation software such as PVSYST
- Familiarity with module/inverter/tracking system technology
- Electrical and solar equipment testing procedures

**Required Qualifications**:
The minimum qualifications for this position are:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related energy field from a four-year university
- 3+ years of experience in power generation industry (solar / renewable energy experience preferred)
- Must be fluent in English verbal and written communication
