Team Overview:
The KYC Manager accomplishes results through the management of a team of Professional KYC analysts, Team leaders and supervisors. Contributes to ensure compliance to standards which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how risk policies are designed to prevent credit losses and coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires risk cycle full awareness in order to keep the perspective of this role and its contribution to the credit losses prevention. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of the KYC area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy implementation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.

Role Responsibilities:

- Feedback the Risk Policy team on improvement opportunities in current policies and / or technology in place to improve quality and productivity.
- Assesses risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
- Establishes and maintains a robust information security control environment and culture within the Financial Business.
- Assists top management in achieving and maintaining strategic objectives, promotes efficiency, reduces the risk of loss and helps ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, laws and regulatory requirements.
- Assists in assessing current status of all regulation related controls.
- Recommends control enhancements as needed
- Identifies best practices to be shared with global Didi Financial businesses
- Develops and maintains tracking metrics for management reporting and escalation.
- Establishes a rapport with Business Managers, Risk Policy, Compliance, HR and Internal Audit
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as expert to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Ability to manage teams.

Role Qualifications:

- From 5 years experience managing KYC process in the Banking industry preferably in the Personal Loans and / or Credit Card
- Good knowledge of local regulations in consumer Credit
- Solid and mature People Management Skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate abilities to work under pressure environment.
- Experience working with Risk Policy, Risk management Teams at all levels
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, proactive and self-motivated
- English level - Advanced
- MS Excell is a must
