- Supplier Quality Engineer oversees the documentation, training, implementation, and monitoring of the activities of the organization for the compliance with the departments of the company.- In this role you will succeed by:
- Outline objectives, validate and report quality performance of machinery/equipment.
- Interact with all departments for compliance and maintenance of quality of both the machinery/equipment and processes in the QMS.
- Ensure that the SGC detects risks and opportunities.
Identify potential opportunities to improve the machinery/equipment and work together with managers of the area and the organization to develop and process them.
- Support to ensure validation and startup are completed satisfactorily and documented as is required.
- Support the design department in a technical way and verify that the requirements of the customers (specifications, part drawing, etc.).
- Identify training needs together with the departments and the organization to improve the QMS.
- Visit clients, when required, to address the complaints presented and support in solution.
- Visit clients when necessary to understand their requirements and detect areas of opportunity in support sales, design, manufacturing and project managers.
- Visit current and potential suppliers, together with personnel from the purchasing area for the purpose of know their capabilities and scope.
- Visit current suppliers in support of the purchasing department in the evaluation phase of providers.
- Identify from the quotation phase if internal or external inspection services are required.
- Support from the quotation and design phase so that the minimum-security requirements of FCM and customers.
- Interact in internal run off meetings and with the client to validate the machinery/equipment.
- Support project managers in customer complaint meetings and lessons learned for their attention and its feedback to the quality system.
- Approval of the designs in terms of safety and quality in conjunction with manufacturing.
- Perform, maintain and update ISO process activities.
- Carry out communication activities regarding ISO.
- Support the departments for compliance and maintenance of quality with the processes in the SGC.
- Maintain the indicators of the departments with the support.**Education and Experiences**:

- Education & Experience:
- 5+ years similar position in the automotive industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Teamwork.
- Time management.
- Quality systems.
- Commercial contract knowledge and experience.
- Intermediate user of MS Office, MS Project and ERP.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Optional requirements:
Master's degree in engineering and/or mechanical industrial engineer or related preferably.
- APQP
- Basic negotiation skills.
